Pipe Flexibility & Stress Analysis
Many projects require piping systems and supports to be analyzed for flexibility and stresses to comply with codes. The goal of the pipe stress analysis is to determine the most efficient pipe support arrangement to satisfy several criteria including to reduce anchor load on connected tank and pump nozzles, avoid flange leakage, reduce pipe deflection to acceptable values and design pipe support arrangement with sufficient flexibility and support for all load cases.
We have experience doing flexibility studies for systems with multiple load cases and designing pipe support layouts for complex piping systems with process fluids undergoing both high temperature and high pressure. We strive to create a system layout that is cost effective and satisfies all design criteria. |

Pipe Support Design
We provide engineering design of pipe supports and support frames. Our designs use standard supports from well-known manufacturer's catalogs whenever possible. We also have the capability to design and verify stress of fabricated pipe support frames due to our experience with frame and FEA analysis.
Pipe support drawings are provided as 2D detailed drawings detailed for fabrication in either 24x36 ("D") or 11x17 ("B") sizes. These designs include rigid and spring hangers, guides, slide supports and anchors and detailed fab. drawings showing weld notes, schedules of support equip. and bill of materials. |
